The Site

Ireland Fraser & Co. Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of IBL, was formed in Mauritius in July 1850. It is a dormant company which owns a plot of land of 1.391 arpents
(5,871 m²) in the centre of Port-Louis. IBL is proposing to develop the land held by Ireland Fraser in a multi-product high-rise tower which will include commercial and office space, apartments, parking bays and a hotel.

The Site proposed for a redevelopment is found in the centre of the prime commercial/office area of the city, along Dr Ferrière Street and President John Kennedy Street. Given its location, the site is one of the prime locations within the whole of Port Louis and is one of the largest land parcels available for development.
